Guglielmo Vicario has completed a season-long loan switch to Juventus, with the Italian giants holding the option to trigger a permanent transfer next summer valued at £8.5million.
The goalkeeper departed Tottenham Hotspur on loan on Thursday.
Tottenham Hotspur stars rushed to bid farewell to Guglielmo Vicario after he finalised his season-long loan move to Juventus.
The 29-year-old managed 31 Premier League fixtures for the North London club during the 2025/26 campaign, but a hernia operation in March saw him lose his starting spot to Antonin Kinsky as the season wound down.
With his position at the club uncertain heading into the new term, particularly after Tottenham signed experienced keeper Martin Dubravka on a free transfer, speculation mounted regarding Vicario’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Juventus expressed interest and finalised an agreement for the loan acquisition earlier this week.
The Turin-based club also possess the ability to sign him on a permanent basis in approximately 12 months’ time for £8.5million.
Following his exit, Vicario took to social media to publish a heartfelt message expressing gratitude towards supporters and the club for their backing throughout his three-season spell in the capital.
Several of his colleagues responded with messages of support beneath his post.
