The Spurs manager has already spent £237million this summer, breaking the club’s transfer record on two occasions. Mateus Fernandes joined for £85m in the first record-breaking signing, before Sandro Tonali smashed that figure with his £100m move.
Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka and Andy Robertson all arrived on free transfers. Spurs have also allowed Cristian Romero, Djed Spence, Will Lankshear and Manor Solomon to depart.
Now, De Zerbi will aim to bring in more ready-made players to boost his attack before the Premier League begins. Savinho and Cody Gakpo are the manager’s main targets with progress being made on both transfers.
A replacement for Spence has also been eyed and another squad player looks to be following the defender to Italy.

Moore said De Zerbi won’t give players a second to be careless on the ball or off it. He mentioned learning a lot from this approach, knowing he cannot switch off on his touch. Moore noted there might have been one moment in the first half that De Zerbi will point out, stating that’s not good enough and Moore agreed. He said players cannot get away with anything and De Zerbi has been outstanding.
Guglielmo Vicario is in Turin right now ahead of his season-long loan move from Tottenham to Juventus.

Savinho’s move to N17 has been on the cards for some time and the Brazilian’s social media back-and-forth with ex-PSV team-mate Xavi Simons has always caught Spurs fans’ attention.
But after Tottenham’s friendly draw against Hoffenheim on Sunday, the 22-year-old’s supposed social media activity was yet again a topic of conversation.
The second of two fixtures against the German team ended in a 2-2 draw, with Ben Davies and Luca Williams-Barnett on the score sheet. Spurs prodigy Williams-Barnett took to Instagram after the game with a post captioned It’s time on the back of his goal and impressive performance.
Reports suggest, though, that Savinho liked this post, leading many online sleuths to think it hints at an imminent arrival. Who knows? Though ideally, the Manchester City star signs before Brentford or Beyoncé might have to be given a go out wide.
Mikey Moore’s loan move to Koln has reportedly been put on pause by Roberto De Zerbi. The Tottenham manager is reluctant to let Moore leave until the club strengthens in attack.
Reports in Germany claim that the 19-year-old has already given the green light to the temporary spell. Koln’s managing director Thomas Kessler declined to comment specifically on the Moore deal when asked about it on Sunday, noting that he typically does not discuss players under contract with other clubs.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz. Turkish news outlet Fanatik reports that the 26-year-old is being eyed by Everton and Spurs.
The report states that the Toffees have placed a verbal £35million (€40m) bid for the winger. However, Galatasaray are still awaiting an official offer from either club.
Yilmaz played 49 times for the Turkish side last season, scoring 12 goals and assisting 16 times. His contract runs until 2028.
Everton are reportedly eyeing Tottenham’s Pape Matar Sarr as a replacement for Idrissa Gueye. Afrik Foot claims that Sarr is at a crossroads due to the arrivals of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.
Tottenham are under no immediate pressure to let Sarr leave as he is contracted until 2030. However, an offer of £21.4million – not including add-ons – could convince the club to facilitate his departure.
Toby Alderweireld has urged Tottenham to make a move for Victor Osimhen before their Premier League rivals. In comments to Hajper, he said Spurs are not the only club that could use a striker like Victor Osimhen but they need his goals because it is what they lacked last season as well. He noted the only concern for clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United might be his age. He is not the youngest player anymore and it seems everyone wants to find a 23-year-old superstar who can score consistently for the next seven or eight years, and he understands that. Alderweireld pointed out you also need a good mix, which is why it can be important to sign proven players who know how things work so they can bring on the younger, potential superstars alongside them, because they can set the best example. He referenced his time at Ajax, saying the mix was on another level with Dušan Tadić and Daley Blind and Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs de Ligt coming through, adding that is what you need.
Marcus Rashford could make a sensational return to Barcelona this summer. The Manchester United forward had been linked with Tottenham earlier this summer but looked to be remaining at Old Trafford for the foreseeable.
However, TEAMTalk has claimed that Barcelona remain in contact with Rashford’s representatives. This could result in a dramatic return to Spain before the end of the transfer window.
Barca are said to be assessing the market after selling Ferran Torres and losing Robert Lewandowski on a free transfer.
Cody Gakpo is reportedly fully convinced about joining Tottenham Hotspur after talks with Roberto De Zerbi.
TEAMTalk reports that the Liverpool star has agreed personal terms, with Spurs preparing to make an official move for the Liverpool winger this week. Liverpool value Gakpo at £60-£70million, while a package of around £65m could be enough to secure a deal.

Juventus would have to pay Tottenham £8.5million to sign Guglielmo Vicario next summer. The Standard reports that the goalkeeper is heading to Turin right now to complete an initial season-long loan that includes the option for a permanent transfer.
The Italy international has been a long-time target for Juve but it looked like they had opted to pursue Emiliano Martinez instead after Aston Villa agreed a deal with Parma for Zion Suzuki.
Negotiations for the Argentina international fell through and the Serie A side quickly turned to Vicario instead.

Liverpool hope to tie midfielder Alexis Mac Allister down to a new contract this summer. The Reds are not planning to entertain talk of a transfer for the Argentina international.
With two years remaining on his current deal, Liverpool want to underline his importance to the squad and keep him as a central figure in their long-term project. Tottenham were reportedly interested in Mac Allister, alongside Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Liverpool set a £86million (€100m) asking price in July in a bid to ward off suitors.

The goalkeeper will travel to Italy to finalise the move with the Serie A outfit. Vicario will undergo a medical ahead of the transfer.
Destiny Udogie is reportedly open to a transfer from Tottenham this summer. Current reports claim that the 23-year-old could leave north London with AS Roma keen on his signature.
The Serie A side are said to be preparing an offer for the Italy international. Udogie is valued at around £25million by Tottenham.
Pape Matar Sarr is reportedly emerging as a target for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. The Daily Mail reports that the midfielder is open to exploring a move away.
Brentford and Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on Sarr but a move to the major money league could be more attractive to the 23-year-old.
Al-Ahli are ready to offer Sarr personal terms, after he was deemed surplus to requirements in north London.

Daniel Munoz has appeared on Roberto De Zerbi’s desk as a key replacement for Djed Spence. The England international exited Tottenham at the weekend to sign for Inter Milan in a £30million deal.
Now, Spurs are looking for competition in the right-back position to work alongside Pedro Porro. Munoz has emerged as a major target, and Crystal Palace values the veteran defender at around £20m.
