Tottenham Hotspur are exploring options to bolster their forward line during the current transfer window under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, with approaches being made for two Manchester City attackers.
According to reports, negotiations are advancing smoothly for Tottenham to acquire City striker Omar Marmoush. This development follows confirmation of a separate agreement worth £75million to bring in Savinho from the same club.
The north London outfit are seeking to improve their attacking options after ending the previous campaign in a disappointing 17th position. De Zerbi’s squad have already made several significant signings, including Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, and Martin Dubravka.
Sources indicate Tottenham have reached an agreement with City to secure winger Savinho for £75million, with additional performance-related payments potentially adding another £10million to the fee. The Brazilian will undergo medical assessment in the capital before putting pen to paper on a lengthy contract.
Spurs previously attempted to recruit the 22-year-old during the previous summer transfer window when Thomas Frank was leading the club. At that time, Savinho chose to stay at the Etihad Stadium, though his opportunities were restricted under Pep Guardiola during 2025/26, making only seven Premier League starts.
The former Troyes player contributed four goals across 36 appearances during the most recent season. Savinho is not the only City forward on Tottenham’s radar, with Marmoush also identified as a target before the transfer window shuts on September 1 at 11pm.
Egyptian international Marmoush, who arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt in a £59million deal in 2025, found himself lower in the selection hierarchy at City towards the end of last season.
