Tottenham still have significant business to conduct in the summer transfer window as Roberto De Zerbi looks to make further major acquisitions

Roberto De Zerbi is targeting at least four additional signings this summer, with Tottenham’s total expenditure expected to exceed the £300million threshold.
The club has already invested an enormous £237m on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke. Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka arrived on free transfers as De Zerbi constructs a revamped squad for the Premier League campaign.
The extent of the squad transformation clearly affected preparations, with players still adapting to their new colleagues as Brentford secured a commanding 3-0 victory on Saturday, condemning Tottenham to an opening-day loss. The north London club must get their season moving quickly with upcoming fixtures against Charlton Athletic in cup competition and Newcastle at home.

Here, football.london has looked at who Tottenham could bring in and let go this week.
Savinho and Omar Marmoush
Tottenham are nearing a double signing from Manchester City involving Omar Marmoush and Savinho. Sky Sports reports that talks over Marmoush continue, with the player apparently happy to move to north London.

Meanwhile, an £85m agreement has been reached for Savinho, with Spurs paying an initial £75m plus an additional £10m in potential add-ons. The 22-year-old was expected to undergo a medical with Tottenham last Friday and will take the club’s spending beyond the £300m mark.
A further £55m is available for Marmoush, bringing the combined cost for both players to an enormous £140m.
Cody Gakpo
The attacking additions do not end with the Manchester City pair. De Zerbi has been tracking Cody Gakpo for much of the summer. Liverpool want at least £60m for the Dutch international, with the player apparently expecting a positive outcome to negotiations between the clubs regarding his transfer, according to Voetbal International.

Tottenham are said to be preparing a fresh offer for Gakpo, with reports suggesting an agreement in principle has been reached on a contract extending to 2031. Liverpool intend to keep the forward until they secure a replacement and are pushing hard for PSG’s Bradley Barcola to fill that role.
Once this situation is resolved, Gakpo can leave Anfield and become another significant signing for De Zerbi.
Anatoliy Trubin
Tottenham have also been mentioned in connection with Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin. The Ukrainian is viewed as a potential successor to Guglielmo Vicario, who recently moved to Juventus on loan.

Portuguese publication A Bola reports that Trubin has been linked with a move to north London to fulfil his ambition of playing in the Premier League. However, Benfica had originally placed the goalkeeper’s valuation at £26m, which may have deterred interested parties.
But the report now indicates that circumstances have changed and that the Portuguese club could consider other proposals for Trubin that they consider appealing.
Mikey Moore
With four potential arrivals, Tottenham may look to sanction some departures. Mikey Moore appears almost certain to join Koln on loan this summer, with De Zerbi representing the obstacle in the transfer.

German reports state that a complete agreement has been reached on a loan for Moore, with no purchase option included. However, the Spurs manager is yet to approve the move as he waits for new recruits to arrive in north London.
Richarlison
Everton have been mentioned as potential suitors to bring Richarlison back to the club this summer. The 29-year-old has faced an uncertain future at Spurs after leaving the Toffees for £60m four years ago.

The Standard reports Tottenham will want a substantial fee for Richarlison, despite him entering the final year of his contract. David Moyes is said to be eager to bring the Brazilian to Hill Dickinson Stadium, though he may struggle to negotiate a bargain.
Other reports suggest the north London club wants at least £26m for the player, with the individual himself also reportedly demanding at least £8m per season in wages.
Juventus also showed interest earlier this summer after CalcioMercato reported that the 29-year-old was seeking a fresh start.
Pape Matar Sarr

Galatasaray are demonstrating strong interest in Tottenham’s Pape Matar Sarr according to The Sun. The midfielder appears likely to struggle for regular minutes this season following the arrivals of Tonali and Fernandes.
With Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray also available in the holding midfield position, plus Conor Gallagher and James Maddison as alternatives, Sarr could find himself well down the selection list.
Some reports have indicated the 23-year-old has agreed terms including an £8m annual salary. Clubs continue to negotiate, with Spurs wanting £21m while the Turkish side is prepared to spend only £15m.
However, The Sun report suggests that despite Galatasaray’s interest, the transfer is not particularly advanced at present.
